I work with carbon reinforcement for concrete structures and research the way how to use it with high efficiency. The distributed fibre optic sensing technology helps me gain new insights.

I like to think that the civil engineering industry currently undergoes a slow-but-real change with the new materials becoming available and allowing for so much more.

What I do at the university

I work on concrete structures with carbon reinforcement (CFRP, TRC) and strain monitoring with distributed fibre optic sensing at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. || PhD @ Leibniz Universität Hannover, 2021, || post-doc @ TU Dresden.
